Out of the Ashes is the creation of a pioneering husband and wife team from Gloucestershire in the UK – Penny Lyon and Kevin Washburn. With hundreds of videos, several hundred thousand views and thousands of followers on social media, award winning Out of the Ashes have built a big online audience and also regularly play live gigs across the UK and Europe attracting rave reviews.
From a variety of gigs, festivals and encouraging church gatherings, to blogging, radio and TV appearances, they utilise music as part of their mission to bring joy, healing and worth, and to energise their audiences with a message of love, hope and renewed possibilities.
Out of the Ashes comment on relevant topics that relate to the daily experience that most people face, and, at concerts, Penny openly shares her own stories of personal trauma and broken hopes, along with her more recent realisation that growing old is a lot more fun than most people told her it was going to be!

With more than seventy songs across five albums, including their fifth album ‘Where the Warriors Kneel’ which has just released, Out of the Ashes have a wealth of material that keeps their set fresh, engaging and hugely entertaining.
